Zurück The IFZ association aims to promote education and training opportunities in the financial sector and to support companies in the field of financial services and financial management with application-oriented research.
It was founded in 1996 with the aim of creating the Institute for Financial Services Zug IFZ in cooperation with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. From 1997 to 2002, the IFZ association was the supporting association of the institute, since 2002 it has been acting as a sponsoring association. At the same time, it is also the alumni organization for alumni of the IFZ’s continuing education courses.
The IFZ Association is supported by private individuals and companies as well as by the Swiss Canton of Zug. It makes an annual financial contribution to the basic financing and specifically to the research activities of the Institute.
The board of the IFZ association consists of well-known personalities from the business world. It supports the institute’s management in strategic matters, in representing its interests vis-à-vis the university, and provides the institute with valuable contacts in the business world.
