Arzu Tschütscher graduated from high school in the USA in 1995 and in Austria in 1997. After graduating from the Vienna University of Economics and Business in 2001 with a master degree in economics and business administration, she attended in-service advanced courses in international management in London, Lucerne and Boston, as well as training as a board member in Zurich. In 2020 and 2022, Arzu Tschütscher also completed two postgraduate legal studies and obtained an LL.M. in banking and financial market law as well as an LL.M. in Company-, Foundations- and Trust law. The economist is convinced that a combination of business and legal knowledge, coupled with a broad range of experience by industry and discipline, provides the diversity to operate successfully in a global business environment.
Arzu Tschütscher began her professional career in 2001 at Telekom Austria AG, where she served as head of project controlling.
A change of industry led her to the financial services industry in 2004. Initially, Arzu Tschütscher started at the Austrian subsidiary of the Swedish Life Insurance Group Skandia as Head of Finance and Risk Manager. From 2009 onwards, she was the Chief Risk Officer responsible for the country organizations Germany, Austria, Poland and Switzerland at the European headquarters of Skandia Insurance in Berlin. From 2011 to 2013, as CFO and member of the Executive Board of Liechtenstein Life Assurance AG, she was in charge of Product Development, Finance and Controlling, Actuarial, Risk Management, Portfolio Management, Fund Administration and Human Resources.
Arzu Tschütscher was a member of the Board of Directors of the life insurance company PrismaLife AG in Liechtenstein in 2014 and joined the management of the cross-border life insurer as CFO in 2015.
In March 2015, Arzu Tschütscher was also elected to the Board of Directors of Telecom Liechtenstein AG and appointed Vice Chairman in April 2021. In April 2023, her second and thus statutory last period as a member of the Board of Directors of Telecom Liechtenstein AG ended.
Between 2014 and 2022, she also volunteered on the Board of Trustees of the Zukunft.li Foundation, Liechtenstein’s first liberal think tank, and since 2018 on the Board of the IFZ – Institute for Financial Services Zug Association of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
As an interdisciplinary and experienced manager, Ms. Tschütscher made another industry change in 2019. As CFO and CRO, she was responsible for finance and risk management at banks until 2023.
Since 2024, Ms. Tschütscher has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority and a researcher in the field of sustainability management.
Since founding the company in 2014, Arzu Tschütscher has managed various mandates in the consultancy firm she runs together with her husband.
